Your Success Is Our Foundation
I'm Larry Sadler. I spent 30 years in this industry — behind the wheel, under the hood, and behind the dispatch desk, all the way up to COO of a trucking company. I started Cornerstone Dispatch for one reason: owner-operators deserve a dispatcher who treats their truck like his own business depends on it. Because it does.
Three things matter to every driver I work with: the load gets there on time, you make enough to live and pay for the truck, and you're home when I said you'd be. Everything else is my job.
What You Get
- A mechanic answers your phone. Thirty years turning wrenches — when your truck talks to you out there, I diagnose it with you by phone and tell you honestly whether to roll or stop. Try finding that on another dispatcher's site.
- Built for owner-operators with trailers. Your own 53' dry van — or I'll help you line up an affordable lease. Dry-van freight is where the steady money is, and it's all I book.
- 6% of linehaul — nothing else. Never a cut of your fuel surcharge or accessorials. First load is free — that's about $130 back in your pocket on a typical first load, before you've paid me a dime.
- Planned a full week out. You know Monday where the week ends. High-paying headhaul out, steady backhaul home — with home time on your terms: standard tours run 7–10 days, or stay out 2–3 weeks if that's how you like to run.
- Your floor is law. You set the rate per mile you need to operate successfully, and I never book under it — on all miles, deadhead included. If the freight doesn't clear your number, we don't take it.
- Breakdown under load? I run the relay. Another truck picks up your load, your freight stays moving, and I document every detention and layover dollar.
- One dispatcher, one number. You always talk to me — not a call center, not a rotating cast.
Start in Four Steps
- Reach out. Call, text, or fill out the carrier intake form — five minutes.
- We talk numbers. Your truck, your home base, the rate per mile you need to operate successfully. No fluff.
- Sign the agreement. Simple, plain-language: 6% of linehaul only, weekly billing in arrears, 7-day out.
- First load free. I plan your first tour at no charge. If the money's right, we keep rolling.
A Planned Week — The Math, Out Loud
This is how a Cornerstone week gets built: your floor is set first — this driver needs $2.25 a mile on the linehaul — every load is locked before the week starts, and my fee is figured on the linehaul only. The fuel surcharge is never touched. An illustrative week, built at real posted board rates:
- Monday: Missouri to Kentucky, 453 miles counting deadhead — linehaul $1,328, that's $2.93 a mile.
- Tuesday: Ohio to Tennessee, 356 miles — linehaul $886, $2.49 a mile.
- Wednesday: Kentucky to Ohio, 570 miles — linehaul $1,458, $2.56 a mile. Thursday and Friday bring them home, booked the same way.
Three days in: 1,379 miles, $3,672 of linehaul — $2.66 a mile against a $2.25 floor. My fee on that: $220. The fuel surcharge on those same loads, about $827, was never touched. That's the whole model: your number first, the week planned ahead, and a fee you can check on a napkin.
